My Journey toward Teacher Development
This Summer at Juilliard!
I was recently accepted into the Teacher Development Program with the National Alliance of Acting Teachers, taking place at Juilliard School in June.
I was also awarded scholarship support, which I’m incredibly grateful for.
For years, I’ve dedicated myself not only to growing as an actor, but to growing as a teacher. Teaching has become one of the most meaningful parts of my artistic life. Whether I’m coaching actors privately, working with young performers, teaching workshops, directing, or building programs like the Working Actor Masterclass (WAM), my goal has always been the same: helping artists feel more truthful, connected, courageous, and fully alive in their work.
The Teacher Development Program is an opportunity to deepen that mission.
This program brings together passionate educators from across the country to explore actor training, teaching practices, communication, classroom leadership, ensemble building, and the evolving craft of arts education. It’s designed not just to strengthen teaching techniques, but to strengthen the impact we have on the artists and communities we serve.
Anyone who knows me personally knows how long I’ve talked about wanting to continue growing into the kind of teacher who can truly make a difference in people’s artistic journeys. Being accepted into this program feels like a major step toward that dream.
While scholarship support covered part of the cost, I’m currently raising funds to help cover the remaining expenses associated with attending the program this summer.
If you’d like to support this journey, donations of any amount genuinely help and are deeply appreciated.
Thank you for believing in me, supporting my work, and helping me continue growing as both an artist and educator.
Thank you for your support!!
