That means YOU!

Darius A. Journigan
Darius A. Journigan is a New York City–based actor, director, and educator with over 20 years of professional experience in film, theatre, and commercial performance. His training includes The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, and Shakespeare & Company’s 2026 Month-Long Intensive, where he continued developing his classical and voice work.
For the past two years, Darius has taught and directed with Shakespeare & Company, contributing to their educational programming and directing The Tempest and Hamlet in the Fall Festival of Shakespeare. He has taught and directed with The Family Repertory Company since 2016, working with actors across age groups and experience levels in both performance and training capacities.
Darius designed and led the Summer theatre programs at Youth Theatre Interactions (YTI) in Yonkers, building curriculum that integrated voice, movement, text analysis, and ensemble performance. He has also taught at the Thespian Arts Program in Yonkers, supporting young artists in developing both foundational craft and stage confidence.
In addition to institutional work, Darius offers private and group classes, coaching actors ranging from complete beginners to SAG-AFTRA and Equity professionals. His students train for auditions, MFA programs, on-camera work, classical performance, and long-term career development.
Whether working with emerging artists or seasoned professionals, Darius prioritizes clarity, discipline, and growth — equipping actors with the tools to meet both the craft and the industry with confidence.
